Delusive Relics is an electronic music project formed by Farhood Nik and Anis Oveisi. Drawing from a shared history of international performances and a deep connection to alternative and electronic music, the duo has developed a sound that moves between Synthpop, Industrial, EBM, and Electronic Rock.

Influenced by artists such as Depeche Mode, Massive Attack, Nine-Inch Nails, Gary Numan. Delusive Relics blends the atmosphere and experimentation of classic electronic music with a darker, contemporary edge. Their music explores human emotion, identity, society, and the subjects that often remain unspoken.

The project made its debut in 2018 with the single “A Woman’s Diary,” the first release from their 11-track debut album, Chaotic Notions, released in February 2019. The song received international attention, including broadcasts on MTV and VH1, and accumulated thousands of views online. Addressing the subject of gender equality, the release established an important thematic direction for the project.

Independent music publication Come Here Floyd praised “A Woman’s Diary,” describing Delusive Relics' music as both a blend of multiple genres and a fascinating reflection of human emotion.

In 2019, Delusive Relics was nominated for a New England Music Award for Best Band from New Hampshire.

The band's second album, The Blind Owl, was released on February 12, 2021. The album was preceded by singles including “Painting from a Dead Body” and “Shade of Owl.”

In the years that followed, Delusive Relics continued to expand its sound with a series of releases including “Mercury in Retrograde,” “Fairy Ring,” and “Climax,” leading to the release of the EP Mycelium in May 2024.

Now, Delusive Relics is entering its next chapter. Farhood Nik and Anis Oveisi are currently working on their forthcoming album, Ouroboros, named after the ancient symbol of a serpent consuming its own tail—a representation of eternity, cycles, transformation, and renewal.

The first single from Ouroboros, “Dissipate,” will be released soon, marking the beginning of a new era for Delusive Relics.

With each release, Delusive Relics continues to evolve while remaining rooted in the electronic sounds that first inspired them—creating music that looks toward the future without forgetting the dark, emotional, and experimental spirit of electronic music's past.
